The Ecofriendly Electric DIY Bicycle, also known as the ÖKOVÄNLIG, is a unique design that stands out from the crowd. Its frame is made from PEFC certified plywood, harvested in an environmentally friendly manner and manufactured in Germany. The bicycle is equipped with specially designed aluminum parts that connect two plywood panels and two wheels. The Protanium lithium battery, which is easy to remove, is housed within the plywood sandwich construction. This e-bike complies with EN and ISO standards, and its Protanium electric components have been tried and tested.

Assembling the ÖKOVÄNLIG is a breeze. It arrives in a box, and within 30 minutes, any DIY enthusiast can have it ready to go. The bicycle is easy to operate, transforming into an electric-assisted bicycle as soon as the pedal is pushed. The display shows the speed and battery autonomy, making it user-friendly and convenient.

The design of the ÖKOVÄNLIG was based on insights from end consumers who felt that the market lacked a holistically designed electric bike.
